INTRODUCTION

“It’s the SXSW of Space”

“It’s the SXSW of Space”

Most space conferences leave you overwhelmed, overloaded, and overlooked.

At other space events, they talk “at” you – at New Worlds, we speak “with” you. We fold you into the conversation and experience. New Worlds was designed not as a conference, rather a slightly counter-culture gathering of the space tribes where Space Entrepreneurs, Frontier Pioneers, Industry Celebrities, and the Space Curious converge for 2 Full Days of Deep Conversations, Intimate Networking, and Epic Experiences.

What you’ll hear in this IMAX theatre will be like experiencing 5 millions lbs. of thrust from a Falcon Heavy

The transformational experiences we have planned for you will make you think and feel like you’ve actually left this planet.

“We go way back” will be something you find yourself saying soon enough about the lifelong connections you’ll build here.

SPACERS, UNITE

Join The Conversation, With A Side Of Revolution!

Join The Conversation, With A Side Of Revolution!

New Worlds is uniting hundreds of spacers, visionary entrepreneurs, influential billionaires, pioneering tech developers, forward-thinking policymakers, agencies, private sector organizations, domain thought leaders, and top-tiered media and inviting them to go to the edge–and beyond. Together, we aim to share and showcase the latest in space, science, technology, and the arts–all under one roof. This is an event where you can let your hair down, relax, and get inspired by new ideas, insights, and ideologies you won’t experience anywhere else.

Star-Power Draw: Previous years have been attended by many celebrities, venture capitalist firms, and pioneering brands.

Engaging Programming: Powerful conversations, first-of-its-kind keynotes and thrilling entertainment. It's visionary thinking meets ground-based action.

Astronaut Interactions: Hear about their experiences in space. Last year there were 4 astronauts in attendance. See how many will attend this year!

Elite Networking: Rub elbows with the space field’s biggest luminaries, industry journalists, and investors looking for their next venture, all in an intimate setting.

Space Cowboy Ball: This intergalactic masquerade is a one-of-a-kind blend of awards, live music, entertainment, and a costume dance party–truly a night where imagination knows no bounds.

“Reality is becoming closer than what science fiction predicted; we imagined what a future of space would look like, and now it’s time for you to … MAKE IT SO.”

“Reality is becoming closer than what science fiction predicted; we imagined what a future of space would look like, and now it’s time for you to … MAKE IT SO.”

12:05 PM – Launch Break

Fuel up and get ready for a packed afternoon with more amazing speakers and conversations.

1:15 PM Enterprise Update - Space - The 18th United Nation Sustainable Development Goal

There are currently 17 SDGs recognized by the United Nations. Given the MotherWorld is actually IN space, it seems odd that space development and expansion of life into the Frontier has been ignored, let alone all that can be done to help save the Earth from space. Robert offers us an update on the effort by groups like the Space Renaissance Initiative and the National Space Society to change that.

Robert Katz - Futurist/Astropreneur

1:30 PM The Orbital Street - Building our first space neighborhood in LEO

Four credible, well-funded private/commercial space station programs are now underway. EarthLight believes that rather than a single government-owned station, it's time to leverage the incredible legacy of the ISS and begin building an American-led Orbital Street. This session features updates from all four station companies, followed by a discussion about how best to identify and catalyze enough markets to justify this new space community.

Individual Updates from:

Axiom Space
VAST - Dennis Stone
Sierra Space/Orbital Reef - Beth Fischer
Voyager/StarLab - Mike Lewis

3:00 PM STAR Talk - Creature Comforts in Space

Space is serious stuff, but what about just "hanging out"? Sam brings us a fun and exciting talk about the basics of space life, from sleeping to eating to all the other basics of life.

Sam Coniglio - Author "Creature Comforts in Space"

3:15 PM Power Break

Get caffeinated, do some networking, and get ready for the next lineup of powerful discussions and debates!

3:30 PM – Enterprise Update - Training For The Overview Effect

Going to space is the ultimate peak experience, but life back on Earth can be challenging. Our training, informed by psychedelic therapy and transformative spirituality, optimally prepares astronauts for and helps them integrate this profound journey.

Bart Womack - Founder and CEO

4:00 PM Enterprise Update - Black Star Orbital

Imagine a fleet of small reusable satellites that, at the end of their lives, return to Earth—not in a fiery ball of burning metal, but to gently land, be repurposed, and fly again.

Chris Jannette - President, Black Star Orbital

4:15 PM Enterprise Update - OrbitFab

Gas stations in space—that says it all. But there's more. Until OrbitFab showed up, satellites didn't have gas caps and weren't refuelable. Now, OrbitFAb is enabling recycling and reuse.

Daniel Faber - Founder

4:30 PM Bio Medical Advances in Space - Hacking Humanity for Space Travel

Kelly Weinersmith - Co-Author "A City on Mars"

9:40 AM Space Reality Check

There are many myths in the space movement. Yet, even as we reach for the stars, it is vital that we keep our feet and our reality firmly grounded. EarthLight invites speakers who confront the Kool-Aid stand and help us create a conversation about our real future on the High Frontier!

Dr. James Logan - Former NASA JSC Chief of Flight Medicine

Dr. Phil Metzger

10:30 AM STAR Talk - Personal Agency on the High Frontier

As they become more independent from Earth, human's rights to do what they want will be finally realized in space. From currency to forms of government and the shapes of communities and tribes, people will at last be able to fully express themselves.

Brock Pierce - CEO Unicorn VC

10:45 AM Power Break

Get caffeinated, do some networking, and get ready for the next lineup of powerful discussions and debates!

11:00 AM Fireside chat - Bury Me on the Moon

Some ancient cultures hold the face of the Moon sacred and have tried to stop the placement of small ceremonial capsules of human remains on the lunar surface. By the same token, funeral rituals are also sacred. A conversation with the founder of the company that finds itself caught in the middle of this debate.

Charles Chafer - CEO Celestis

Rick Tumlinson - Earthlight Foundation

Dr. Namrata Goswami - Co-Author "Scramble for the Skies”

12:00 PM The Race for the Moon

By 2030, American companies will be able to operate between the Earth and the Moon, as NASA's narrowly focused Artemis program is focused on life support. India and Japan are also building lunar programs. Meanwhile, it is probable that China will land people on the Moon by 2028 and trump everyone. So what do we do? Some of the world's top experts discuss this critical next moment in history.

Dr. Greg Autry - Author, "Red Moon Rising"
Dr. Joel Mozer - Former Chief Scientist - Space Force
Dr. Namrata Goswami
Dr. Phil Metzger

Rick Tumlinson - Editor - "Return to the Moon"

12:45 PM SpaceWords

Poetry by Sarah Kalmeta

12:50 PM Launch Break

Eat, Connect, and get ready for a powerful afternoon!

2:00 PM Enterprise Update - Space & Politics

In the 1990s, there was a "space movement," including lobbies and PACs. It is no coincidence this was when the groundwork for government support of commercial space started. Then, the billionaires showed up, and many activists thought the job was done. It wasn't. Mike discusses the need to form the next generation of these critical tools.

Michael Mealing - Partner, Starbridge VC

2:15 PM Making Communities in Space a National Priority

In 1988, for just a few years, it was the law of the land that the human spaceflight program was to support "space settlement." A few years later the law was killed. Now more than ever, the US needs this "North Star" to enable support for us to open the High Frontier. Space policy experts discuss just how to make it happen.

Leah Cheli Doolittle - Executive Director, EarthLight Foundation

Michael Mealing - Partner, StarBridge VC

Sagi Kfir - Former Legal Counsel, Blue Origin; Chief Legal Counsel, SpaceFund

Ari Eisenstadt - University of Hawaii

3:00 PM – Power Break

Get caffeinated, do some networking, and get ready for the next lineup of powerful discussions and debates!

3:15 PM Enterprise Update - MoonDAO

In “The High Frontier,” Dr. Gerard K. O'Neill envisioned space communities of people who were vested owners in their enterprises—not only as shareholders but also as proportional voters and decision-makers. MoonDAO is doing that—and it is well on its way to being among the first groups to develop and settle the Moon.

Pablo Moncade-Larrotiz - Founder, MoonDAO

3:30 PM Artemis for the Rest of US

We see China moving on large-scale lunar industrial development. Yet, for Artemis, Congress has tasked NASA to repeat Apollo - but leave a Moon cabin to be visited by astronauts. How can we harness Artemis to support a vibrant and growing U.S. lunar economy and community - even as NASA practices for Mars? How do we transform the agency to see citizen participation as a goal rather than a nuisance?

Pablo Moncade-Larrotiz - Founder, MoonDAO

Dr. David Alexander
Dr. Phil Metzger

4:15 PM Fireside Chat - AI & Our Future in Space

AI, it’ll kill us all or make our lives better, depending on who you talk to. Facing the vast distances and complex life-support systems needed in space AI will be a critical technology. As the inspiration behind the “AI Declaration,” Bryan is uniquely positioned to discuss this new human-AI partnership on the Frontier.

Bryan Talebi - Co-Founder Ahura AI

4:45 PM STAR Talk - Is There Anybody Out There?

They may be buzzing Navy ships, or they may not exist at all. According to Fermi's Paradox, they should be everywhere, but we can't find them anywhere. So, as a thought experiment, let's accept the idea they are out there. Will they come here? Why will they come here? And most importantly, when they do, how and who will we be?

Rave Mehta - SETI Institute Advisory Board; Founder - Flow Capital

5:00 PM – Closing Remarks – The Purpose is Now!

Rick Tumlinson - Earthlight Foundation
